The Prince’s Boy: do you want a sequel?

So, now that The Prince’s Boy is really and truly done with, all chapters and the epilogue are posted… of course I’m starting to think about a sequel.

I have bunches of ideas that have been nipping at my heels…

In the epilogue of course I set up one direction the sequel could go, with Kenet and Jorin (and who knows who else…) making the trip to Pellon to meet the Frangi delegation. I would love to set some chapters in Frangit itself, too, the land of mystery.

But tell me, dear readers, what would you love to see? What questions did I raise in TPB that you want answered? Who do you want to see more of? What stones did I leave unturned?

Random things I'd like to see in a sequel:
--some female characters!
--Day Magic, m/f sex magic
--Jorin being badass with a sword

I did sometimes find the absence of female characters kind of oppressive, even though I'm a slash fan; you always write women so well. But I really enjoyed the serial, and I loved that in the end, it was *Kenet's* magic rather than Jorin's or Seroi's that was the key. Anywhere you go in a sequel, I will gladly follow!

Grin. One idea I'm kicking around is that in other countries where the gender roles are defined differently, there may be more kinds of magic than just night and day, as well. And then we'd have not only some female characters, but perhaps some trans? Not sure just yet as I want to let this percolate for a bit. :-)

As for Kenet's magic, one could say that the gender roles I played with here instead of male and female were those of seme and uke, where traditionally uke is the male version of the damsel in distress. In the end, no hero could save Kenet. Only he could save himself.
