No, one post per week is a good speed for most people. Less often than once a month, people tend to forget and consider it inactive. But much more than once a week and you start losing people who are easily overwhelmed. I post almost every day, often multiple times. This delights people who are frustrated by the many inactive blogs, but it's way to much for some.
